Typeface and Fonts
- A typeface is a complete collection of glyphs (characters) that are designed for a given purpose.
- A font is a particular style of a typeface. For example, Georgia Regular, Georgia Bold,Georgia Italic, and Georgia Bold Italic are all fonts that are part of the Georgia typeface family.
There are two essential characteristics of typefaces (serif and proportionality) and the four possible combinations of those characteristics.
- Proportional Serif
